Hi SH, Our comments as below, plz advise. Thanks! 1. Before returning RMA units, we need to receive a list including S/N and phenomenon. After confirmation by PM Mary then ALT may arrange for the shipment. 2. For each monthly RMA shipment that needs to be returned upon receival , we could do at most 300pcs. Also plz do not dis-assemble the device. 3. For those beyond repairment caused by customers, we will put them together with other already-repaired devices and stick a label on the giftbox for differentiation. 4. separately packing like new and others=> will you separate them in the first place? We could ship back the way shipped to us. 5. About the refurbishment, in fact in the 2019 ABR ALT already mentioned no need for refurbishment so we are a bit confused about the request here. 6. We will use the same package from you to ship back but would you plz prepare couple buffer units for giftboxes and cartons in case the package is too damaged to use for shipment? 7. About the F/W, we suggest to upgrade to the newest version in the factory. 8. Rubber foot will be attached before return to ALT, for those NTF or not caused by Fii we will charge for the replacement of rubber foot too. 9. For giftbox and carton labels, ALT will provide them or Fii has to print out? If the latter then ALT will have to provide the spec. |

Hi Henry, Here is my feedback below. 1.OK. I will send the list first than arrange for the shipment. 2. 300 pcs / monthly of RMA capacity, it looks fine at the current level. but If increases returning defect units from customer, RMA CAPA should also be increased. It is related to the field deployed STB. 3. The factory does not use gift box. and see the No. 9 comment Please using easily removable sticker, place on the bottom or rear side . 4. OK. 5. That means Foxconn doesn't proceed refurbished.The customer will carry out refurbishment on their own 3rd party company, So, the purpose of this RMA is in repairing HW malfunction. 6. OK, we will send buffer packing materials. 7. Agree. upgrade the latest firmware at the time of repair. 8. OK. 9. For the refurbishment packing will take place in Korea. Please check again "2.8 Role and Responsibilities". if you have more questions or confused something, please feel free contact me. I will release RMA Specification for BFX-AT100 official version (r1.0) without update the detail specification until this week. Thanks SON |
